Coolum Update

Well between getting our first eBook “How to Start a Business – The Tradie Way” produced and settling in at Coolum Beach the last 10 weeks have certainly flown. Coolum is a great spot, awesome beach and the weather has been great too.

Stumbled across something the other day online that I though was priceless! Ever wanted to be able to get up when your alarm goes off? Well try this one on for size!

During the day when you are fully awake go to your bedroom and set the scene as if you were sleeping, thus get in your pj’s and close the curtains. Relax in bed as if you were sleeping and set your alarm for a couple of minutes time. When your alarm goes off, turn it off, stretch for a couple of seconds, get out of bed, then either get dressed or shower etc.

The idea is to repeat this often while you are awake so it gets ingrained in your head and muscle memory. Think of it like training at the gym, do a couple of sets of 8 or 10 reps at different times during the day. After some practice during the day you will eventually find yourself automatically following this same routine in the mornings and be up and into it before you even realise that you got out of bed.

Our new site www.startmytradiebusiness.com was launched last week.

The site contains an e-book called “How to start a business – The Tradie Way -” and is aimed at Tradies who want to go out on their own or start their own business.

The book is a really great product so check it out and tell all your traide mates!

Operation 2012 has commenced!

After 3 months of strategic planning, one resignation and two relocations Operation 2012 has commenced. We are pleased to announce that after only 3 days the new accommodation/work setup is complete at none other location than…… Coolum Beach. Coolum Beach is quite little town nestled half way between Noosa and Maroochydore on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and proving to be a somewhat “quieter” version of life as we knew it in Melbourne i.e. Supermarkets close early on Public holidays and there are plenty of dogs to be seen walking along the beach, none however wearing tracksuits or any other form of pet accessory! Guess the only thing left now is to make some money, which is something that we will address with future blogs.

See you at the Beach!!!
